Concerned that consumers completely missed its brand’s organic why-to-buy value proposition, Royal Ridge Fruits, partnered with Murray Brand Communications to reposition and rebrand its line of organic dried fruits. As a first step, Murray Brand’s team designed a new “organics” wordmark for 15 SKUs and supported it with a completely new package design architecture. This was accomplished by boldly staging “organics” as a driver sub-brand endorsed by Stoneridge Orchards. Appetizing fruit imagery and distinctive flavor colors were then pared with distressed typography and a wood–textured background to reinforce the natural, bright and delicious flavors associated with an organic product.
