Morinaga Packaging Design

To support the launch of its new almond-soymilk line of beverages, Morinaga Nutritional Foods partnered with Murray Brand Communications to design a new logo and packaging system for the Multnomah brand.

To communicate the brand’s positioning of a unique and refreshing beverage steeped in the heritage of Oregon’s natural foods community, Murray Brand designers developed a range of concepts associating the brand with the state’s famed Multnomah Falls and healthyl, outdoor lifestyle. This included graphic depictions of the falls and the cooling and energizing mist greeting its visitors. A simple staging of ingredients, product benefits, and special processing technique complete the design and ensure it is significantly differentiate on shelf from competitors who commonly present a liquid pouring into a class.
